Fire Agent

This is the first page of the upcoming comic book "Fire Agent'. It is based on an old animation that I was doing about ten years ago. Its about a couple of cops who are chasing a blowtorch wielding serial killer. The two pigs are set upon a wild chase through the dirty back allies of the Capitol City in search of a college coed killer. This is a forensic file thriller from page one to the end. Hope you enjoy the rough first page.

You are probably wondering what does this have to do with animation. Well it just so happens that I did all the panels like I would an animation. This project is a lot different from any comic book that I have done. The panels are actually set up in after effects so that we can use movie type effects to produce our panels. We also use Illustrator to turn all of my drawings into vector and then shove them into Photoshop where I lay in all the water color effects before slamming them into AE for the finishing touches.
